Tour: Angelino Heights

Explore L.A.’s first suburb on the Angelino Heights tour! This late 19th century neighborhood was built for upper-middle-class families. Today, its magnificent Victorian homes are some of the best remaining examples in Los Angeles, and nearly all of them have been restored. You might even recognize a couple from dozens of films, TV shows, and commercials, includingCharmed and the music video for Michael Jackson’s “Thriller!”

Angelino Heights is L.A.’s very first designated Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ), and the 1300 block of Carroll Avenue (within Angelino Heights) is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Guests will view two private home interiors, subject to availability.
