What will historic preservation in Los Angeles look like over the next forty years? How do organizations like the Los Angeles Conservancy address critical urban issues like density and housing? Who decides what to save?
As the Los Angeles Conservancy celebrates its fortieth anniversary, they’re looking to the future and asking questions about preservation in Los Angeles. Listen as esteemed panelists, including Christopher Hawthorne, the City of Los Angeles’ newly appointed chief design officer, and Margaret Bach, founding president of the Los Angeles Conservancy, explore these questions and more as we discuss the role preservation will play in Los Angeles’ future.
Reservations are $20 for members, $25 for the general public. Santa Monica Conservancy supporters can take $15 off their entire ticket order with code FUTURE. Register here.
