Join Colour Consultant Krista Broadstreet as she shares her expertise at the Farrow & Ball Santa Monica Showroom. Learn about the history, inspiration, and heritage-minded applications of the extraordinary Farrow & Ball signature palette of 132 handcrafted colours. As light refreshments are served, we’ll consider how colour is perceived in Santa Monica given its characteristic light and connection to the sea and sky. How can the stories of Santa Monica be told through colour? Come along and find out.

About Our Hosts

Farrow & Ball

Farrow & Ball has been based in Dorset, England, since 1946. To this day, the brand remains dedicated to handcrafting richly pigmented paints and unique wallpapers using only the finest ingredients.

Krista Broadstreet – Los Angeles, Pasadena & Santa Monica

Krista graduated from the Academy of Art University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Colour Theory. Following her graduation, she worked with a Mural and Decorative Finish Studio, collaborating with artists and designers to create unique areas of interest for residential and commercial spaces. Krista has provided excellent paint advice, colour consultations, and decorative finishes throughout her career. She has joined the Farrow & Ball team as an expert colour consultant with a wealth of knowledge and passion, taking every customer on a tailored colour journey.

Preservation Next is a Santa Monica Conservancy affinity group that builds space for the next generation of preservationists working in any field to engage in interdisciplinary discussion around the role of historic preservation in Santa Monica’s urban fabric. We host a variety of events and promote widespread appreciation for the cultural, social, economic, and environmental benefits of heritage conservation.
