Join Pasadena Heritage docents for a virtual tour of one of Pasadenaβs oldest neighborhoods. Named for its most famous resident, Henry H. Markham, a congressman and Governor of California, the Markham Historic District is remarkable for the quality and variety of its residential architecture.
Styles range from Queen Anne Victorian, Shingle, Neoclassical, Foursquare, Craftsman, Spanish Colonial Revival, to English vernacular. Most of the homes are the works of renowned architects, including Harry Ridgeway, Charles and Henry Greene, Frederick Roehrig, Myron Hunt, Charles W. Buchanan, J. J. Blick, Leonard A. Cooke, G. Lawrence Stimson, Frank M. Tyler, and Sylvanus Marston.
Tickets are available online. After purchasing a ticket you will receive a link for the Zoom meeting with reminders just before the event begins.
