Join La Senora Institute for a wonderful afternoon with Cristi Walden, an expert on California’s art tiles of the 1930s. Walden will share the wonderful stories of these beautiful tiles and the family that dominated the California vision of tile in that period. Malibu Potteries was not the only source responsible for bringing California tile into the homes and public buildings of Southern California during the early half of the twentieth century, but it may be the most famous– due in some part to the fascinating story of the famous Adamson/Rindge family of Rancho Malibu.
